Who we are

This notice covers the quote-request pages at certification.v-cert.org, operated by V-Cert Inc., 2352 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Questions: info@v-cert.org.

What we collect

The details you enter in the form: name, work email, company, phone, country, what you make, and any optional answers.

Information about how you reached the page: the advertising click identifier and campaign labels in the page address, the page you landed on, the referring page, your browser and device type, and the country your connection comes from.

Why we use it

To answer your request by email or phone, scope your quote and, if you go ahead, run your certification review.

To measure which advertisements lead to quote requests.

Who receives it

Our own team, and the service providers that run our lead records, email and hosting on our behalf. Your details are stored in the United States.

Google, for advertising measurement: when you submit the form we report the request to Google Ads, which can include your email address and phone number in hashed form so the request can be matched to the ad you clicked. We do not sell your details.

Calls: on our US pages, visitors who arrive from one of our ads may see a Google forwarding number instead of our own. The call reaches us as usual; Google records the call's time, its length and the caller's area code, so we can tell which ad led to it.

Cookies and similar storage

These pages keep the advertising click identifier and campaign labels in your browser for up to 90 days and use Google's measurement cookies. A short-lived cookie records the country your connection comes from, so the page knows whether to ask for consent. Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked first; if they decline, no advertising identifiers are stored, measurement stays off, and we keep only that choice. They can change their answer at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of each page.

How long we keep it

We keep request details for as long as we need them to handle your request and to keep our business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the details you sent by emailing info@v-cert.org. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
